Now, this is my kind of punch art–two simple punches, no cutting, no shaping, and you're done! Daffodils are easy to make with the Five Petal Flower punch. I put a Brights button in the centers of mine, with a pearl in the middle of each one. The grass was handcut and crimped. But I really like the background of the card best. I basket-wove strips of Crumb Cake cardstock and sponged them to bring out the pattern.
Pretty & springy… daffodils always make me think of my momma. But this particular one is not a card you'd just throw in the mail–it's very heavy, and thick, too. I'll be hand-delivering this one to someone local!
If you don't have an Easter stamp, consider the single stamp called Easter Dove (back page of the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog). It's only $6.95, and I'll be showing you a nice variety of ideas for it during March. I have orders going in several times a week, so email me yours and we'll take advantage of the workshop shipping rates. Or, you can click here to visit my shopping site and have it delivered straight to your own doorstep, no waiting!
I’ll be CASE-ing this card. Daffodils are my favorite flower. Thanks!
