Had to gussy up this store-bought gift bag (of course) so I tied a candy cane on to the handle with Whisper White Organza Ribbon and then did this technique with the heat gun. Perfectly pizzazzed in seconds! You've gotta try it!
I think I shared this idea last year, but here's a cute little guy we made at Big Shot Club this week, using the Build A Bear Workshop Big Shot dies and the Boho Blossom punch. I love how the candy cane is almost too much for him to carry! To make your bears hold the candy cane, cut off the left arm (I know, I'm a big meanie!) and reattach it going across as shown. Curl his other hand around to support the top, and secure everything with glue dots. Now if only I had two more hours in every day, I'd make these for all the kids in my children's classes for Christmas!
