This card was a swap at my October downline meeting. It showcases our Fine Cosmo glitter, which is super fun! To get the long strip of celadon glitter along the edge, I laid down double-sided tape (Sticky Strip reccomended). Then you just sprinkle glitter on it and shake off the excess–easy as pie! Or should I say easy as a cupcake?!
I used the new Scallop Border punch along the edge of the Gable Green card and backed it with Green Galore–love those two colors together. The Only Orchid circle is cut with the Coluzzle system, then pierced around. The cupcake was stamped on Whisper White, colored with the Aquapainter (also on sale!!!) and the Bold Brights Watercolor Wonder Crayons.
The cherry is made by cutting a little divot out of the 1/2 inch hole punch (Pixie Pink), then watercoloring a little red onto it for shading, and coating with Crystal Effects. I also dabbed CE on the sprinkles of the cupcake and sprinkled it with Dazzlin’ Diamonds and the rose Cosmo glitter. I have also made adorable cherries out of the petals of one of the rounded felt flowers from our Felt Fusions Accents & Elements kit. Very cool!
