I'm late to the party–I JUST got my free Country Floral embossing folder with just one week left in Sale-A-Bration 2019. But I managed to inventory my cardstock and put together another qualifying order, and I'm glad I did because that folder is gorgeous! Can't wait to play some more.

I made these single-color cards with Whisper White and Gray Granite, a light grayish khaki color. Monochromatic neutrals give you a very elegant, harmonious look. The focus was on the texture, so in addition to the embossing, I added frames made with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, sponging, twine, buttons and my favorite awesome die-cut sprig from the Frosted Bouquet set.
Here's a simpler version that still has lots of texture. I want to try this layout in some different color combos next! The floral stamp is from Touches of Texture and the tiny "hello" is from Beauty Abounds. I colored in just the flowers with my Aqua Painter brush and the Gray Granite ink pad.
TOP TIP: my favorite adhesive for attaching little things like mini buttons, twine bows and delicate die-cuts is our Glue Dots. They are very small and clear, and if you need them even smaller, you can roll them or fold them in half. I go through about a box a month, seriously. One in each corner also holds and entire cardfront on, they are that strong. Plus, since they're not a liquid or a sticky-style adhesive, there is zero residue on your fingers afterwards. WIN!
