It's a big week at our house… Daniel turned in his last final after the weirdest school year ever, and next week is full of funny little appointments to take pictures, return books, get his diploma, and pick up awards. I am NOT sorry to see the end of school!!
I am SO PROUD of this boy and feeling really blessed to get to be his mom. Isn't he handsome??! He has been accepted into Maranatha Baptist University as a Communication Arts–Digital Media student this fall. We've got a third-generation Sabercat in the family!
When you see a graduate smiling in their funny mortarboard hat with the tassel that always manages to swing right into your mouth, you don't see all the plain old hard work that they've put in for the last four years. In our case, a million small challenges overcome along with a few big ones, too. And then one really big challenge right at the end just to make their senior year interesting! It really is an occasion to celebrate.
I really can't wait to see what God has in store for Dan in the future. Will it be something that suits Dan's tastes and talents perfectly? Or will God ask something of Dan that we could never imagine, and empower him to do it? Who knows! So exciting. Look out world!!
