Christmas cards of 2019! Candle Arrangement card

We made a fun card in Christmas Club this month and it was so simple I wanted to be sure to share it with you all in case you're looking for a realistic-but-also-elegant card this year. The only special thing you need for this card beside the stamps is some Christmassy patterned paper, such as the Wrapped in Plaid papers I used here.

Start with a plain Thick Whisper White cardstock base, scored and folded in half to form a side-hinge card. Cut your patterned paper to 5.25 x 4 inches and adhere it on the cardfront with an equal margin on all four sides.

Cut a 4.25 x 5.5 (quarter-sheet) of regular Whisper White and stamp the candle arrangement (from God's Peace) in the lower left corner, using Shaded Spruce ink (or whatever matches your papers.) Tear carefully from the upper left corner down to the bottom right corner. Adhere on the top of card flush with the left hand side, as shown.

Decorate the front with a snippet of ribbon, a punched saying, and a little Stampin' Blends color on the candles (Pineapple Punch, Soft Sea Foam.)

The inside is super easy, too, with the beautifully arranged verses in Soft Sea Foam green on the left and the main greeting in Shaded Spruce on the right (all from God's Peace). If you set up an assembly line, you could easily make 20 of these in an hour and then do the coloring while watching a TV show. Super simple, but really do-able!

Christmas cards don't have to be a dreaded chore! HELP YOURSELF FINISH this year by picking one of the easy designs in the Christmas Card section of Song of My Heart. If you have any questions about what to order, just ask and I'll go through the numbers with you and even help with measurements. That's what I'm here for! Lyssa@songofmyheartstampers.com
