Enjoying the Love & Care hostess set from the Summer Mini Catalog and all the different techniques you can use to shade the flowers. On this card for Calendar Club tonight, I just used the markers to ink up the stamp. Oldie but a goodie! I wasn't sure how it would work since I got this set in clear mount, but I just made sure I pressed the block down on the stamp good and hard, colored quickly, and double checked that it was still attached to the block firmly before I picked it up to stamp.
This is an easy one, just the Framed Tulips embossing folder (still available to order, carried over from the Occasions Mini Catalog), and some pretty Old Olive taffeta ribbon to break up the Bashful Blue and Not Quite Navy.
Had to use my beloved Pun Fun once more before it retires for good on June 30th… the coffee cup image and saying was perfect for this card of So Saffron, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Real Red. I cut the Real Red zig-zag with the Tasteful Trims die for the Big Shot, after attaching Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the backs of the strips. It makes adhering anything a breeze. I don't know how I got along without that stuff!
The Newsprint DSP (also retiring–boo hoo!) was the perfect touch because as my friend Penni puts it–what goes with coffee better than a newspaper? Well, chocolate, duh.
Using up some of the Button Latte buttons from the Alaska cruise. I also like how the Baker's Twine from the Summer Mini Catalog adds a little accent to the knot of So Saffron ribbon (got a huge roll for dirt cheap on the Clearance Rack). That cute little stripe lends a funky air to the card and takes it from ho-hum to hip and happenin'!
