What IS it about butterflies, anyway? So beautiful, so short-lived and so fragile, they remind us to pause and appreciate the gorgeousness the world around us and the brevity of our time here. I'm not surprised they pop up in so many stamp sets and papers, because they truly are timeless.
I never get tired of putting butterflies on my cards and pages, so I've REALLY been enjoying the big variety available in the Botanical Butterfly 12×12 papers from Stampin' Up! (available free with order during Sale-A-Bration 2019). They are all shapes and sizes, and if I can't find one it exactly the right shade, it's an easy fix with a Stampin' Blend marker to change the hue or bring out an accent color.
I used the beautiful, also timeless, sentiments from the Hold On to Hope stamp set for my cards. Who needs and encouraging card from you today? I don't know about you, but my prayer list is pretty long right now. Lots of people dealing with loss, pain, stress and discouragement. I LOVE that our shared hobby brings beauty and a reminder that life is precious.
