Bird Banter notecards

Had a lot of fun making my thank you notes for the first half of January. I used the Bird Banter set to stamp my little scene, and the new Stampin' Blends markers to add vibrant colors. I had intended for these to be plain, completely flat notecards, but they ended up with a little patterned paper from the Pick A Pattern pack peeking out from a torn edge. I think I slightly like this next one better, with the yellow stripes.

I started out making the toucan be realistic colors, but soon left that in the dust. Bermuda Bay was just calling out to be used. I also made several cards with the new Paper Slit technique I shared Monday. It's just such a great way to use up scraps!

I can't wait to make some Valentines with this set, and a bunch of belated birthday cards to keep on hand because, well, you know… some of us can't seem to get our cards in the mail on time.

But Bird Banter is soooo adorable, I know they'll forgive me! Ha!

  1. I like all three of these Lyssa. So stinkin’ cute! I’m gonna try the paper slit technique. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent!
