Oooooohhhhh I am so stressed out. I really need to make a list! Life is better with lists! It's all good stuff that I'm stressing over, nothing bad, don't worry! But I'm still feelin' the crunch. We leave for Fiji (ready or not) a week from Saturday. I have basically nothing done. I'm speaking on the topic of "Duplicatibility in Direct Sales" at a conference in Madison this weekend, which always makes me a basket case (WHY did I say yes, again?) and trying to prep my projects and displays for that. My kids' academic meet is tomorrow… and a million bajilion. other little things… well, you know how it goes. Better make a list!
Anyway, today I have a cute card to share with you before I scoot to my conference tomorrow after running around like a chicken with it's head off for another few hours.
On Friday night there's what we demos call a "shoebox" swap, where we all bring projects for each other to make. They are supposed to take just ten minutes each, so I came up with this cute and quick card featuring a soon-to-be-released stamp set called Sketched Birthdays. It's so new I can't even show you a picture of the rest of the stamps in the set, but trust me, it's going to be a must-have!And it coordinates with BOTH punches AND Framelits, so you're going to get even more convenient bang for your crafting buck.
The color is a leeetle bit off in this photo, but I used Island Indigo as the base, layering on pennants in Summer Starfruit, Pool Party, and Raspberry Ripple, from left to right. I pre-embossed the Needlepoint Borders embossing folder on the one piece, so it should go pretty fast. There's 25 participants tomorrow night, so it had better!
Stay tuned for super inspiring pictures from the conference! Can't wait! Now to just get myself there…
Sounds like a great topic for your conference. Will you be taping it to share? I also really like your card. Really pretty simple with just enough pizazz. Thanks for sharing
It won’t be videoed, no, but the entire script will be on my free demonstrator inspiration and motivation site next week!
