Looking forward to the final Scrap A Stack Club of 2011 this Thursday night–let me know if you want to be a guest for free and see what this fun monthly group is all about! We made this Beau Chateau Product Suite double-page layout last month for one of the projects, and it has some fun scrapbooking details and embellishments I wanted to share. This is the left hand page… and here is the right.

Not too many people have discovered the Side Notes on page 190 of the 2011-12 Idea Book & Catalog, but I LOVE them!! They are so cool–an assortment of heavyweight, felt-weave cardstock, die-cut in pretty shapes and labels, ranging from journalling boxes to tags to postage stamps. You get two of each design, so there's plenty to play with. I used four of them on these pages, three on this page and one in the first photo.

The double-sided Designer Series Papers are all from the Beau Chateau paper pack, cut in strips and laid horizontally. It is just scrum-diddley-umptious for scrapbooks. For the great little vintage ruffle, I crimped long torn strips of the gold polka-dotted patterned paper, and hand-ruched it onto Sticky Strip. I think the Very Vanilla velvet ribbon from the Holiday Mini just makes the page, don't you? Such a lucious, elegant texture. I also used satin and seam binding ribbons, so there are three different layers of texture-y goodness on this page.

And yes, there's a wee bit of my beloved retired Hodgepodge Hardware, which is now only available (steeply discounted) on the Clearance Rack, by the way!

Don't you wish making three scrapbook pages was on YOUR to-do list today? It can be, if you sign up to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator! Do it as a hobby, to make some craft money, or to replace a job that is going nowhere. I'm SO thankful that the Lord allowed Stampin' Up into my life. It's ridiculously fun and we have been blessed like crazy because of it. Call me today and we can chat about how Stampin' Up can work for you and your family, either just as a relaxing hobby or as a business. I LOVE going to work every morning!
