I had a lot of fun taking this plain white paper gift sack from zilch to zip-edee-doo-dah in no time flat thanks to some stamps (Sprinkles) and a little of that fun Sale A Bration ribbon we all have a dozen spools of hidden away in our craft closet! I chose Certainly Celery with a little So Saffron since we don't know Baby's gender yet, and I cut out the letters on my Big Shot using DSP-covered chipboard. I can't believe how much easier that is than cutting the out separately and gluing them together like we used to do! Then I attached the letters down the side of the front panel of the gift bag using dimensionals. It turned out SO cute!
I'm going to tell the mom to pop the letters off when she is through with the bag, and put them in her scrapbook. Fun!
I know these colors are retired now (Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette) but I thought I'd show you this cute baby card I made with the All in the Family and Family Phrases sets. These were demo preview items at the time and we didn't have any ribbon or embellishments to work with yet, so I made the "bow" out of a thin strip of paper. It turned out ok I think! And I was lovin' the Scallop Edge punch, brand new that week!
