Hey everyone! You may have noticed an uncharacteristic silence from me lately, especially during such an exciting week like this one, with free shipping and the announcement of the retiring list! Well, Typepad, my blog platform, has been under a virtually unprecedented five-day cyber-attack, with fresh attacks coming as they fixed the original problems. Their parent company, SAY Media, even got a ransom note from the hackers… the FBI is involved….it's a big deal! I can only imagine the stress levels at their offices since last Thursday. I've been frantic to get news out to SOMH blog fans, but there was nothing I could do but sit there and hope I didn't lose my whole blog.
Thankfully, I can post today, everything seems to be still in it's rightful place, and hopefully Typepad has been able to learn from this and put some things into place to prevent it happening again. Thanks for your patience–and watch for a flurry of posts today (hopefully!!) as I make up for the last few days of enforced silence!
