An awesome use for the Top Note leftovers!

Fall window 6x6 page  Isn't my nephew just too adorable? I love getting new pictures of my nephews and neices, not just because I enjoy seeing how they've grown in the past year, but also because it means I get a whole new batch of photos to use in my sample projects. I have enough work to do to keep up with my own kids' pictures, but I can't bear to throw these cute little faces away, so this makes a great compromise.

This 6×6 scrapbook page was born out of the fact that you can only fit one Top Note Big Shot Die on a 6×6 piece of Designer Series paper. NEver in a million years would I be able to throw away the remaining paper, so I had to come up with a creative use for it. The only problem with these yummy double-sided papers is picking which side to leave face up! But I finally made a decision, adhered the photo behind the opening, and created my page.

The Scallop Circle makes a fantastic sunflower when you snip down each "valley" and sponge the petals to creat depth. My favorite DSP to use for the one-inch circle punch in the center is the Chocolate Chip polka-dotted sheet out of the Bella Rose pack. The leaves are easily made by running the Small Oval punch through the crimper (the paper, not the punch). Stick the whole thing on with dimensionals, add a title, and you're good to go!

Note: if you want to be even lazier, you can just run your photo through the Big Shot to cut them into the Top Note shape. Love that!!!
