Add realistic texture to your nature themed cards with this easy trick!

Love of Leaves stitched leaf fall autumn Stampin Up rubber stamps Lyssa

We did an easy trick at Calendar Club this month and I had to share! All you need is two colors of ink, a leaf stamp, and a sponge dauber (get them here). I used the Love of Leaves stamp set (it has the prettiest matching dies!) and Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen for my colors.

Finally had a moment to play with my new Bark embossing folder–love it! It's deeply texture and feels like real bark. In the quick video below I also share a technique with the White Craft Ink pad for bringing out the grain to weather it a little.

I started this Facebook Live with a roundup of the week's mail, so if you want to skip straight to the technique, start it at about the 3:20 mark.

Adds so much more interest, don't you think? Especially for fall. Try this little trick on your autumn cards and let me know how it goes!
