Thanksgiving Paper Pumpkin Pie

The Sweet As Pie kit was October's project, and it came with eight food-safe boxes (four polka dot and four striped). I combined two kits so I have one "pumpkin" pie (using the striped boxes) and one "birthday" cake (using the polka dotted). I took my Pumpkin Pie Classic ink pad and wiped it directly onto the boxes on the top and two sides, leaving the bottoms and the outside edges the regular Kraft color to be the "crust." You may want to fill in any uncolored areas with a sponge dauber. Then I used cheapo white crocheted craft lace hot-glued in place for my "whipped cream."
- The October 2014 Sweet As Pie refill kits are just $7.95 each plus shipping and tax. You'll need two kits if you want to make two complete pies, one polka dot and one striped.

Now this is cute – I think it was the pompoms that I didn’t care for. They should of been white for the whipped cream! Thanks for sharing this with us.
