In the air there's a feeling of Christmas… I'm taking down my fall decor today as the handsome history professor and Dan the Man rake up the last of the leaves. Now that Thanksgiving is over (sigh) it's time to change gears and dive into making Christmas cards full speed ahead!
Suggested Stampin' Up Color Combinations
I bought Feeling of Christmas for my local club ladies to use this season, but we never quite got there. So it was brand new and this is the first card I made with it. I loved how easy it was to color with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends combo pack– circles of the lighter shade and then heading back in to highlight some leaves with the darker shade. Then I used the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends Dark marker to color my Clear Faceted Gems for 3-D, sparkly berries. It is really pretty in person!
Ready to make this card at home? The wreath image piece is 3.25 square and the mat is 3.5 inches square. I made the banner using the Faux Folded Banner technique (tutorial here) and trimmed off strips of doily to trim out either side and add texture. Fun!
