You guys are gonna clobber me! I'm really sorry I didn't get these samples done and shared earlier, because now we only have until midnight tomorrow to order the Everything is Rosy product medley. I apologize for the short notice. I know a bunch of you already got yours, but I hope everyone else takes one more look, because this kit is something else!!
The dainty patterns inspired me to make a bunch of quilt-style cards, first with squares, then with triangles, and finally with little strips and scraps. It was so easy because all the patterns coordinated with each other.
The papers are all double-sided, so no matter what color you wanted to pull out, you had matching patterns, large or small. Stripes, dots, florals, painted–and all of them beautifully foiled with gleaming rose gold.
From quick cards with a full background, to easy "herringbone" technique backgrounds made with thin strips, to the ever-popular Peekaboo Pull-back (bottom right corner, above) these papers were a joy to work with. Then it was simple to just choose a label and stamp a sentiment, adhere and then embellish. I got 23 cards made in just about three hours total!
I saved these papers for last… they are really special! The marbled background is unlike anything I've seen before and I enjoyed working with the natural swirls in the paper to create a gorgeous wedding card. That rose-gold metallic color is so trendy right now–it was super fun to have foil cardstock, die-cuts, papers and shimmer paints to coordinate.
THERE! Hopefully those were distracting enough that you've forgotten I was sooo belated in sharing!
I hope you've forgiven me enough to run over and see if there are any Everything is Rosy kits left in the online store. They are while supplies last or May 31st, and frankly I'm surprised they haven't sold out yet, so don't wait!!!
WOW – Great Cards – So many ideas
