31 Pages in 31 Days: Farmhouse Autumn pages and card

SSS 2019 Header-001

Hello my lovely crafty ladies! I have something fun to share with you today–a sneak peek from the autumnal goodies available in the upcoming 2019 Holiday Mini Catalog! The Come to Gather patterned papers are right on trend for this beautiful season, with a modern twist on the typical fall colors, and my favorite, white "ghost" pumpkins!

I absolutely LOVE the non-traditional color choices here and the way the work together with each other. I chose not to use any of the Cajun Craze and Merry Merlot colored patterns on this particular page, but imagine them paired with the Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand ones shown, and we have a recipe for an updated fall scheme that includes trends alongside timelessness.

I've had more time this week now that the kids are back in school, so I actually got a card made in addition to the pages every day. I had hope to do a card to match the pages more often this month, but that hasn't happened very much! Next year maybe. It does make sense to make a card while I have everything out and all the scraps handy.

I can see I'm going to need more than one pack of this paper, obviously! So many of the patterns would work year-round, for both masculine and feminine uses. Can't wait to play some more. And I can't wait to decorate my porch for fall! Sorry, all you summer-lovers! I'm going to pounce on the first white pumpkin I see, and I'll be doing it with a pumpkin spice latte in hand.

  1. Lyssa, your layout is STUNNING! I love all the sponging to make it look even more country and rustic, yet the colors keep it fresh-looking still. And what a great card on which to use up DSP scraps! You are the queen of that – I get so many ideas from you for using DSP scraps!
