More variations on the Tall Box

I mentioned in my photo tutorial for the Scallop Envelope Tall Box that you can not add the lid, and just use the box as a very cute bag. Here are a couple of variations on that theme. The first one is awesome for Father's Day! Don't let it intimidate you. The instructions for the shirt and tie front can be found here in this post. I just made a slightly smaller version of it so that it fit exactly on the bag front. The handle on this one is made of doubled DSP and attached with Sticky Strip.

The second one is made with the very colorful "Bollywood" nicknamed paper (actually called Razzleberry Lemonade) and is sandwiched between two Top Note die cuts (trim the bottoms off equally so your bag will stand upright and not rock). I embellished it with the One of A Kind stamp set and punches, and added the Crushed Curry polka-dot ribbon handle with brads.

There you go–two more uses for that nifty little pattern. If you haven't tried it yet, go for it!

  1. Wonderful! I have used your other idea for treat holders for my station leaders at VBS. I think I’ll add paper handles…those would look cute too!
