31 Pages in 31 Days Day Six! 2022

Welcome to 31 Pages in 31 Days, my annual scrapbooking blog series each August! Have you been playing along? We're about one week in already, crazypants! So far so good…

Looking back at last year's series, I was in the middle of opening Embellish, my downtown studio and rental classroom space. WOW! My entire stamp room moved over to the new space and the first thing I made, amidst all the rubble and chaos, was pages for the challenge. It was fun but I'm glad I have a nice calm place to create now!

That said, this is a quick page today. My Scrapbooking Summer School video classes begin Monday (it's too late to join us, sorry!), my demonstrator team meets Monday, and we're still working on upgrading the studio. My goal today is to get some paint on some used store fixtures I found on Facebook Marketplace.

This page is for pictures of flowers my mother grew from seeds she brought with her from her Wyoming garden. Those flowers LOVE it here in the lush black Wisconsin soil! They don't know what hit them!

My mother has a fabulous green thumb and she's really enjoying their new condo and all the pretty landscaping. I always know what to buy Mom for a present. Stamps or Plants!

I tore the 12×12 sheet of this pattern from Rustic Harvest in half horizontally to create a continuous border along the bottom of my two-page spread, than hand-cut flowers and leaves to create a 3-D effect.
