Today's inspiration layout for 31 Pages in 31 Days celebrates a special engagement, with spaces for the proposal action shots in a horizontal row, and closeups of the ring itself. With a little imagination you can envision it as a sports page with an action sequence marching left to right, too!
I hope it inspires you to grab that paper you might have that has a strong horizontal pattern, such as these scalloped stripes, and "go with the flow." Interrupting the flow with some vertical elements and breaking it up visually with the round medallion-style elements help the eye stay on the page instead of moving too quickly from left to right.
If you're a fan of Stampin' Up's Sale-A-Bration freebies, you'll recognize the beautiful medallions I used as page accents here. They're from the Rings of Love 12×12 paper pack. If you're reading this post and it's still August 2022, click here to earn this paper for free when you order!
I used a stamp from the Good Feelings set for my headline. If you scrapbook and also make cards, that's a great one because the larger size sayings work well for either type of project.
That's it for today. What inspiration can you take from this layout? Will it be the color scheme, the layout, the headline, or the whole thing?
I'm sooooo excited to share tomorrow's Day 8 inspiration post with you! The next six posts will feature pages my class members are making in Scrapbooking Summer School, via mailed kits I sent all over the country. I can't wait to begin! I so look forward to this every year.
See you tomorrow! Thanks for taking a quick sec right now to like, comment, share or subscribe. I appreciate it, friend!
