10-10-10 event was terrific!

I had a lot of fun designing the projects for my spring 10-10-10 event around the retiring colors (haven't heard about the Color Renovation? Click here). This Eiffel Tower card, made with the Chic Boutique set, looks awesome in Sage Shadow and Handsome Hunter, one of my favorite combos. It maybe took a wee bit longer than ten minutes to make this one, but I couldn't resist!

Love the unusual stacked layout on this one. It's hard to see, but Shimmer Spray made it even prettier. I love this combo of Pale Plum with Rich Razzleberry. RR is staying, but PP is going–so I will have to find a new combo to get my lavender fix in. Lots of good memories with this stamp set–For All You Do–it was the free one we got in Hawaii on the incentive trip last year. Wonder what this year's set will look like??!! One week to find out!

Now this one was more like a true ten minute card. One of my goals was also to have a last hurrah with the fun items out of the Occasions Mini catalog, and everyone really liked the glittery Sending Love designer paper, once I quit hoarding it and starting actually using it.

There were ten designs total, of course, but these were my favorites. The set I used on this card, Fifth Avenue Floral, is on sale through the end of April. Just click on the Two-Step into Spring icon on the right hand bar of my blog for more details. Four springy floral stamp sets are on sale, and there's a chance to get a sneak preview set, Awash with Flowers, totally free this month! Check it out!
