Summer Stampin’ Style Series begins with Vintage Nouveau

DSCF4814

I am really looking forward to tonight's class, the first in a series I'm running this summer called "Stampin'  Styles." This one focuses on the Vintage Nouveau look and how to achieve it. The next one will be in July and focus on the Retro Mod Style. Each class includes four projects, some take-home samples, and a handout that breaks down the style by definition, material, colors, mediums, embellishments, and techniques. I have had a lot of fun preparing for this series!

This is one of the projects from tonight. It's a modified z-fold card using the Elements of Style stamp set from the Summer Mini (and the new catalog!), pairing Basic Gray with Sage Shadow and the Nouveau Chic DSP. We'll be learning lots of cool ribbon techniques including this pin-ruffle ruching and double-dyeing ribbon using markers.

If you missed signing up for this class, please let me know. If I have enough interest, I will run it again in July with the new catalog (and there is a TON of new vintage products and stamps in the upcoming catalog!). Until then, be sure to stay tuned for the dates of the Retro Mod, Trendy Typeography and Graphic Botannical classes in the series!
