How's that for a lineup? Sure is quiet around here now that eight of these kids have departed for home! We're headed east tomorrow and it will be good to be home, although I'm not exactly looking forward to the 18 hour trip!
We spent our last day swimming in the morning and then playing all afternoon, with a family photo session on the back stairs (actually did our own family portraits at Sears today as well, so I'll have plenty of scrapbooking fodder when we get back).
Here's the whole gang… boy was that fun! Crazy, chaotic, fun! That night we did the official celebration of my parents' 40th, complete with cake, ice cream and sparkling juice, after a wonderful Italian dinner for 20 squeezed in on the deck.
Here's to the couple who made it all possible! I love you, Mom and Dad.
And of all our children, Lyssa, YOU are our favorite daughter!
