Gingerbread cards and goodies

Ah!! So much fun! I love gingerbread so much I used to have a themed tree that smelled so good, full of handmade cinnamon-applesauce ornaments. I don’t do it any more because we have winter mice in our 100+ year old bungalow and they enjoyed that a little too much! But I’ve always loved gingerbread men and I still put together gingerbread houses at Christmas time.

So the Humble Home stamp set and punch bundle was a NO BRAINER for me to add to my stampin’ shoppin’ list this year! Many of you will be getting a gingerbread card from me : ) as my favorite way to use this bundle is to stamp and emboss a whole sheet of houses and then punch them out. I’ve been whittling away at my giant list of holiday cards to make and this set is perfect for quick and cute cards.

Note: the tiny background gingerbread man came from the More than Autumn stamp set, another “top of the list” choice from the Stampin’ Up holiday 2024 mini catalog.

I’ve also been knocking out some stinkin’ adorable gift tags that can double as ornaments AND use up a ton of scraps! I went through my “to be sorted” scrap bin and punch or die cut as big a circles as I could from each scrap. Then it was just a matter of layering them and adding a gingerbread house, cute twine and ribbon!

I also made a NEW 6×6 one-sheet wonder cutting guide that makes seven beautiful cards that you can put your gingerbread punch onto. It’s freshly uploaded to My Layout Library–thanks for subscribing and supporting the FUN here at Embellish!
