Had a Build A Bear Workshop stamp party for my friend Michelle last week, and we made their choice of the magnetic paper dolls or this adorable little chalkbord door sign, made with the raw Decor Elements Chalboard sheets and the Scallop Square Clear Bigz die on the Big Shot. It was great fun and everyone was amazed at how easily the Big Shot cuts through all kinds of different materials!
The kids all made a card with the Build A Bear stamps, then went off to play, while the mommies settled in to work. We also made a quick card with the stamps, too, so everyone got a good feel for the different facets of the BABW line that Stampin' Up carries. I particularly like the new Pawsitively Prints II pack of DSP, with its small patterns, sized perfectly for the little bears!
This would make a fantastic birthday party or Girl Scout project, by the way! Contact me if you'd like to order the supplies to make your own, or book a BABW crafting party with me. zwolaneks@att.net
Ok, haveta quit typing now–I think I fixed all the boo-boos, but I am typing with three fingers out of commission. Remember my post about the metal flashing snowflakes? PAY ATTENTION and go slow when you punch those babies out of the sheet after you die cut them. The snowflakes aren't sharp, but the sheet is! I also managed to burn myself cooking my husband's birthday dinner last night, too. So I am sporting Batman bandaids today (they look even awesomer with the turquoise blue fuzz from my gloves stuck to them!). Barbie bandaids tomorrow when I go to Scrap A Stack Club…
These are so cute! That chalkboard Decor Elements sign is a great idea!
