Looking in my May folder, I see I apparently never posted the final spread from Scrap A Stack Club, so here it is! Seems like a long time ago, that club, held on the night before my parents arrived to watch the kids while we went cruising. I'm back in the saddle again already with Incredible Cards Club tonight, so you can expect regular posting once again. And of course, exciting announcements and sneak peeks, beginning tomorrow! It's almost retirement list and new catalog time once again.
This was an elegant, sprawling layout using the classy Lap of Luxury DSP, that was just perfect for Mother's Day. The script on the patterned paper reads "Life is Beautiful." Lap of Luxury DSP goes with Concord Crush, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla and Pretty in Pink. We used some of the wide grosgrain Pink Pirouette ribbon from the Clearance Rack for a luxurious accent, and Hodgepodge Hardware in Stylized Silver. It's hard to see, but the Tasteful Trims die is used for a tone-on-tone accent along the bottom of the pages. TIP: Tone-on-tone is so hot right now. It adds texture and interest without adding busy-ness or drawing too much attention to itself–try this technique on your next scrapbook page!
