Since almost the only time I ever show up at school is to do a craft for some class or the other, as soon as I walk in the front door, any kids nearby start squealing and begging me to come to their classroom. They're always so disappointed if it isn't theirs! I love it. But today it was the second grade's turn.
We got a little off track at the end (hey, they were wildly sugared up already and I was the first item on the party agenda for today) and had a lot of fun learning to make various faces. Here's a picture of them with their completed desk banners, making faces. They now know my secret for the craziest face ever–and NO, I do not and will not have a picture of me making it to share with you!
So thankful for our wonderful school, the dedicated and faithful teachers, the adorable kids, and for the Lord allowing me to "pay it forward" out of the abundance of blessings I receive from being a stay at home mom and Stampin' Up demonstrator.And… VERY thankful for the ease of Glimmer Paper instead of glitter and glue, and the easy clean up after the party!
