I love this adorable idea my downline Allana Brunk had for our Song of My Heart Demonstrator meeting product challenge this month! I gave everyone one of the large Vintage Faceted Buttons at the last meeting and they had to bring it back on a project the following month. My ladies love a challenge!
I can't show you what I made with the buttons for my challenge item, because it turned out so cute I think I might turn it in for a contest. That would be fun!I used 12 buttons on mine, though!
What would you do if you had one Vintage Faceted Button to play with? How about if you had a whole package of them? I will send three lucky winners a pack of their very own!
How do you enter in this fabulously fun embellishment drawing? Leave a comment below listing the very next thing you plan to make, and don't forget to check back on Saturday the 14th, when I'll post the winners!
Here's this month's winner of our demonstrator swap, an adorable truck by Cristy Butzen:
I still think this card is total genius. And I don’t want to win, so don’t put me in the drawing…just wanted to comment on this great card!!
I want to win, because the very next thing I’m going to make is this card for my daughter who just got engaged! Too cute!
wow I need to case it for my nephew who is getting hitched this fall. Don’t put me in the drawing either Lyssa. Thanks for the idea though. Hugs, Bev
The next thing I’m going to work on is my scrapbook. I am sooo far behind! I think these buttons would make a very pretty bracelet!
I’m not sure yet, but I’m thinking of taking the plunge and doing my first scrap book — on the house renovations (or does that sound too dumb?)! Not sure what I would do with the buttons (don’t think they’d work with the scrapbook), but Allana’s card is VERY cute!
The next thing I plan on making is completing a card order for a friend, she needs two specialty cards by Sunday. Thanks for the opportunity to win blingy blog candy!! 🙂
i will be working on a few Christmas projects! trying to get a head start and also keep cool during the heat wave!
You always post the cutest cards and projects! I also have 3 weddings and 2 more showers to make cards for this summer… Thanks for the ideas!
I’m making a military thank you card for a cousin who has just received a promotion while serving our country. I too have a couple of weddings this fall and plan on using this idea. Thanks!
That is such a creative idea! The next thing I plan to make is a baby card this afternoon welcoming my brother’s first child!
To be honest, I’m still basking in the glory of having my Big Shot stars on the first-prize winning float in the 4th of July parade. 🙂
What I probably SHOULD work on next is finishing the baptism cards I’m making for school. I’m to the part where I tie ribbons. So you know that I got “distracted” from the project….
Those may come in very cute as to put them on barretts using the big shot flower and adding a little bling in the middle. Skylar I think would love that, so would Piaa 🙂
Very cute idea on the card
Clever use of the button! I would use them on a baby card placing the buttons as wheels. Have several more ideas too…
I plan to make an anniversary card for my husband to celebrate our 5 years together! I guess I better get to it since it’s this Saturday 😉
The next thing I plan on making is a scrapbook with my pictures from San Francisco!
I enjoy following your blog. Lots of good ideas. The next thing I’m working on is a couple of “Man” cards. But I can see some fun uses for the faceted buttons!
I will be starting holiday cards and would love to embellish with these awesome buttons. On another’s blog, she showed a Boho punched flower attached to the back of the large button and you could see a star thru the faceted button. It was gorgeous.
Love the card above. Great idea! Thanks for sharing and the chance to win.
I’m going to start my Christmas gift items on the first of August. I think they would make lovely blings on them. Your card is adorable. Wish I knew someone whose getting married. Thanks for the chance to win.

My next crafty project will likely be birthday cards for my twin sisters. 🙂
My next project is a wedding card and coordinating “I love you because…” frame for an adorable couple!
I am going to have to make that engagement card for my neighbor who just got engaged. What a clever idea.
