I've been giving my Scrapbooking Summer School girls homework each week, and last week's assignment was to incorporate a used card into a layout. They had a lot of fun with that one! Everyone has old cards at home that are too pretty to throw away, but not really useful anymore. So I gave them each several ol swap cards from a bag I keep to recycle from, and we all had fun learning ways to re-purpose card fronts into scrapbooks.
For Day Nineteen's page, I've used a cute swap card from my demo friend Linda as the centerpiece of this Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler page. I had one giant Silver Glimmer Paper snowflake left over from the old Snowflake die for the Big Shot (now retired) and one square red rhinestone brad, so I put those to good use.
Have you ever turned a card into a page? I have literally hundreds and hundreds of cardfronts, and I'vew loved having my eyes opened to the possibilities for recycling them this way.
I had to play catch up again after going to the mountains for a number of days – days 12-19 are posted on my blog here……

I’m having tons of fun with this! Thanks again for the inspiration.
I knew I was holding on to all those old cards for a reason! I’m excited to give this a try. Thanks!
