Banners and pennant motifs are all the rage in the papercrafting world, and the spring lineup from Stampin' Up does not disappoint! I love making banners, so I knew the Banners Framelits for the Big Shot would be on my first order from the new Occasions Catalog, but I discovered they are awesome for card-making, too. I made this card for my Birthday Bash event last weekend. Here's what it looks like on the inside:
So cute! I love how easy the Magnetic Platform made it to line up the banners so perfectly, too. I need all the help I can get when it comes to making things straight, don't you?
TIP: Cut the larger banner from the card front first, then line the inside cover with your contrasting color. Then run the card through the Big Shot again with the smaller size banner framelit to cut the opening perfectly centered inside the first one. Then use two sizes smaller than that to cut the Whisper White banner with your stamped image.
