I KNOW you'll love today's scrapbooky inspiration–how? Because I stacked the deck with an adorable punch art monkey face! This single-page layout was almost finished when my eye fell on a cute little monkey made by my demonstrator team member Cristy Butzen for a craft fair a couple of years ago. He was getting pretty banged up in his original home on a handmade bookmark, so I transferred him to this page and now he'll last for years to come as part of a cute scrapbook.
Here's a close-up so you can see he's just made with circles and ovals and a little sponging, with a wide, hand-drawn mouth. Easy! This would be so adorable on a card, too.
This layout has a fun color combo inspired by the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack (page 185 of the new 2014-15 Idea Book & Catalog): Early Espresso, Elegant Eggplant/Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Soft Suede.

I am loving your 31 pages in 31 days. Can’t wait to wake up and see what you have created. Thanks for sharing. I will be watching for more info on the sketchbook.
Love the monkey! I could totally see this being changed out to be more girlie too!
This made me smile when I pulled up your page! What an absolutely adorable monkey and I love the color scheme!
I love the monkey!
Love the little monkey. It would be easy to make the page more girly if needed.Although right now my little grandson is in the climbing monkey stage.
Even though I don’t have some of the things for this page I love the monkey and can see how I could use it to decorate pages for my boys.
Cute monkey. I love when you take the time for the supply list. Thanks for doing that, I know there isn’t always time. But know that I appreciate it when you do!
