31 Pages in 31 Days: 8/14/14

Hey everybody! Welcome back to 31 Pages in 31 Days. If you're just joining us, be sure to scroll back through the blog and look at each day in August 2014.  Today's page is quick and uses up scraps, two things I love! This layout can fit either one square focal point photo, or one square and two smaller rectangle photos, one horizontal and one vertical.The cool and classic color combo of Old Olive/Pear Pizzazz and Pool Party/Island Indigo is one I use quite a lot.

I love the way the arrow on the Project Life by Stampin' Up journalling card points right to the focal point photo! I also raided the PLxSU Everyday Adventure accessory kit for the little clear window-sheet pennant I tucked under the headline. The Yippee Skippee stamp set has come in handy for page titles more than once! Still makes me smile every time.

One cute touch I wanted to point out was the use of the Artisan Label punch folded over the edge of this photo mat and topped with a button. The punch gives you a completely different look depending on if you fold it straight in half or diagonally. It also makes fancy photo corners, although for this particular page I chose the retired Photo Corners punch with it's clean lines.
