Quick post today because we're in the midst of our family reunion! We are having a fabulous time! There are ten cousins ages 7-15 and the place is a ZOO. I tell ya, this has been the best summer ever. Started it off with Disney World, then Yellowstone, then the Stampin' Up convention, and now this. What in the world will we possibly do for an encore next summer?! Are you having a good summer, too?
I need a headline for this page yet, but other than that it is ready to go, so maybe I'll just hang onto it until I have pictures that are perfect. Do you have pages or papers you are saving for something in the future? Sometimes that's a good thing because it prompts you to take photos to go with the page… other times they just get shifted around for a couple of years and then tossed because they're all dog-earred….
I made up the page because I had three pieces of this cool Asian-inspired "Haiku" paper (now retired) from the Stampin' Up catalog several years back, and I wanted to use them on something special. I had to dig deep into my scrap bin to come up with other papers to coordinate, but I found it went best with Pistachio Pudding cardstock for the base. Had a tiny bit of retired More Mustard Cardstock left and so I made some flowers to group in the corner of the photo cluster.
Ok! That's it from me! Hope your weekend is off to a fantastic start, and I'll see you tomorrow for another installment of 31 Pages in 31 Days!
Wow, I love this page! I am not usually a fan of ‘coral’ colour, but I love all the patterns and groupings here.
I’ve never thought of offsetting the “border,” but I like it!
