Still looking for a Valentine? Here’s two easy ideas!

ShelteringTree Hearts Valentine Stampin Up Card

It's Mail Week at my kids' school, so we're having fun creating and sending Valentines to that great big mailbox in the school lobby. They watch with great anticipation for the little wheeled cart that goes around delivering the contents every day! If you're still looking for a couple of Valentine ideas, here's a few I made this week.

This first one uses Sheltering Tree (maybe the most versatile set ever?) and a classic color scheme of red, black and white. The swoopy "love" stamp comes from the Hello Life stamp set  and makes a fabulous "ground" for my tree to stand on. I used that same swoopy love sentiment on this next card, too. I can tell already that stamp is going to be a favorite!

Hello Life Project Life Stampin Up Valentine Card

I used the heart stamps from Hello Life for this card, punching out the centers and adding more heart punches from Itty Bitty Accents and the Hearts Border Punch. I went with a fun twist on the classic red and white Valentine for this card, adding in Soft Sky for a touch of pale blue.

This layout is so easy–just cut one inch off the edge of the front cover of your card, and then "sprinkle" your hearts or flowers or stars or whatever from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. add a sentiment stamped on the back inside card down near the right corner, and you're good to go! Paper Pumpkin January February 2015 Valentine Stampin Up Treat Kit

I know these aren't filled with chocolate, like the ones my kids will be giving away will be… but I wanted to show you the cute idea anyway. This is the January 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit (read about Stampin' Up monthly craft kits by mail) which made 24 of these adorable bags and clip-on tags. I've been super busy lately, so I'm thankful that the Paper Pumpkin craft kit took all the stress out of our Valentines this year!
