Wow, has this month gone by fast! Thanks for visiting Song of My Heart Stampers for the 31 Pages in 31 Days annual blog series and challenge. I don't know about you, but I am ready to just keep on going! I LOVE what I have gotten done so far and I can't wait to publish my final page count on the 31st. How can that be tomorrow, already???
Today's inspiration page was fun to make! I've had this balloon stamp set and punch for ages now and no time to play. So I pulled it out to see what kind of scrapbook layout I could come up with. It went in a couple different directions at first, but turned out cute!
I had one sheet of 12×12 Lost Lagoon (now retired) left over so I started with that and layered Very Vanilla on top, with Smoky Slate and Sweet Sugarplum mats. This color combo kills me! It's sooo gorgeous. Wouldn't it make the yummiest wedding colors? The wedding planner in me is drooling…

TODAY'S TIP: While I had the Big Shot out to cut the year numbers, it took practically no time at all to grab some scraps and cut a second set to layer underneath. They looked like expensive chipboard stickers when I got them layered together and painted with a coat of clear Wink of Stella glimmer pen. And it's the perfect way to use up scraps!

Oooh, that is a gorgeous color combination! I love Lost Lagoon, it was such a pretty soft blue. Maybe it’ll come back around in the next color refresh 🙂 This layout is very fun – and I love how the numbers turned out. I’ll be sad when August is over, I’ve really enjoyed all of your fantastic inspiration this month!!
