Got the chance to play with my Sale-A-Bration freebie, Lots of Lavender, for the first time this week. I was delighted to see it's super easy to line up, thanks to the clear photopolymer stamp style. I made quite a few variations, all using the same 2.5 x 4 inch main image piece with a 2.75 x 4.25 inch mat.
I feel like the washi tape just really brightened these up and took them past ordinary. It lent another shade of pinks and purples to a card that already had a lot of different tones. I tried three different tapes from Designer Washi Tape Basics #1, and they all coordinated perfectly.
I had some leftover embossing paste backgrounds handy, since I always make a bunch at once, and those came into play on this batch of cards, too. All in all, a very productive papercrafting session, with eight finished in about an hour!
I just love cardmaking, don't you? And I love it even more when the stamps are free! Check out Lots of Lavender and the other reward choices you can pick from for every $50 spent during Sale-A-Bration 2018. I'd be honored to be your demonstrator, should you care to shop with me and say YES to all the perks and plusses of being one of my stampers!

Thanks for stopping by today! I love that you come here for inspiration. Drop me a line in the comments and introduce yourself!
Your cards are beautiful, Lyssa.
Could you tell me what you used to hold the ribbon together? It looks like a brad but the color matches so well. Is it a Stampin up product?
Gosh Lyssa, these cards are so pretty! I’ve been putting off getting the Lots of Lavender set until now. You did such a beautiful job on the cards. Thanks for the wonderful ideas!
Your cards are beautiful! I LOVE every one of them!
beautiful cards, Lyssa….I need to ink up that lavender stamp set, thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Elaine! it’s not a Stampin’ Up brad. Not sure where they’re from as I’ve had it for ages. I am really hoping for a return of brads shortly as I think they’re coming back into vogue again. I was not happy when low sales caused them to get cut from the catalog!
