31 Pages in 31 Days 2018: Day Seven

Today's inspiration page comes to us courtesy of Scrapbooker's One-Sheet Wonders Volume 4. I had one sheet of this polka-dotted navy and white patterned paper, so reaching for a one-sheet wonder was a no-brainer! To soften the navy against the stark white background, I added Balmy Blue and Grapefruit grove double mats and accents.

TIP: even a small stamp can become an embellishment, especially if grouped together as seen here with the circle punches. Because a lot of care and attention has been lavished on this small piece, it's been given a place of importance to the eye. MOST stamps can adapt from cardmaking to scrapbooking–it just takes knowing a few tips to use the smallish ones!

I wanted to highlight three fun ways to use the Everyday Label punch for scrapbooking. The first is to use it as a journaling space (duh.) The second is to use just one side of it as a faux "tab" to add some little office-style accents to photo mats. The third (not shown) is to trim off one end and use the other half as a tag, punching a hole and stringing baker's twine through it. And here's a bonus tip for you–all of those ideas can be used with the Lots of Labels framelits, too!

That's it from me today–Natalie goes in for her high school interview this morning (oh my) and then we're going shopping, so I've got my MOM hat firmly on. How are you doing with your scrapping?
