Today's page was super fun to make! And not just because it's my beautiful daughter smirking at me from behind her shades. It's all those adorable circles from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack! I'd completed a huge project with them and had just a couple of 3×6 pieces left in all the patterns. It was perfect for punching out 2.5-inch circle punches and arranging them in a grid to make a really cute mat for my photos.
I originally punched and laid out twelve squares for this design, and just have the single photo and headline on top of them. But it proved to be a leetle too busy, so I added a strip next to the photo and wound up journalling on it. And while I had my Watermelon Wonder marker out, I couldn't resist doodling a little on the Layered Letters Alphabet stamps in the word "sassy"… and then I wound up doodling all over the headline in Crushed Curry and Lost Lagoon. Fun!
