Hi everyone! Thanks for popping in for Day Seven of 31 Pages in 31 Days! Today's inspiration layout is super fun and I hope you all recently had or will have the perfect "toes in the sand" photos for pages like these.
This is a "scatter" layout designed in a wave. The tone-on-tone alphabet stamping looks like letters drawn in the sand–fun and fast! I used Seaside Notions for my page elements, but you can use any nautical-themed set to play up the casual beachy style.
PRO TIP: To get the Lined Alphabet headline words, I stamped in Crumb Cake ink (the background pages, from Woven Threads, are kind of a Sahara Sand khaki color) and roughly filled in with a Sahara Sand marker. Be sure to make liberal use of the spatter stamp to imitate sand.
If you are looking for a good beachy set for your ocean vacation pages, Seaside Notions is very sweetly drawn and inexpensive stamp set that I've found quite easy to work with on cards as well.
Thanks for visiting Song of My Heart! I hope you'll pin, like, share or comment and let me know how you're enjoying our blog series. Are the ideas percolating? Are you itchin' to get in the craft room? Then my work here is done!
