31 Pages in 31 Days: rainbow chevron

Goodness, it’s our second to last day of the series! If you’re just joining us please scroll back to see a post every day in August 2023 with a layout for your inspiration. We’re on a mission to make 31 Pages in 31 Days using immersion scrapbooking techniques. Which is a fancy way of saying we leave the mess out all month long, for one month, without guilt!

Get as much done as you can and then put it away, satisfied, and admire your stack of finished pages.

Today’s layout is a quickie… lots to do around here! As of today I’ve finished with a ton of various commitments and projects. It feels good to be headed into a calmer season with more structure and routine.

But even this easy page has one really cool element I want to showcase!

I had two pieces of this cool rainbowy striped 6×6 paper, but I’ve used the pattern on several projects so I wanted to see if I could make it look different. I cut 1 inch strips with the stripes going in opposite directions and alternated them to form a chevron pattern. It’s busy and fun and it did the trick!

  • Colors: Fresh Freesia, Parakeet Party, Shaded Spruce, Blueberry Bushel
  • Papers: Bright & Beautiful 6×6 stack, In Color ombre glimmer paper
  • Shop with Lyssa! I appreciate your support of this series!

Ok! We’re ending the series tomorrow and for our finale I have a very special page with some sneak peeks of my FAVORITE product in the new Stampin’ Up Holiday Mini Catalog… it’s sooo amazing I have zero doubt it will sell out ASAP so I’m gonna give you plenty of time to make SURE it goes on your first order from that book!

If you don’t have a mini catalog in hand please let me know your address and I’ll zip one right out. It goes live September 6th AND there are two big specials starting that day as well. Better sign up for my free crafting newsletter so you don’t miss out on the fun!

See you tomorrow for Day 31!!!
