31 Pages 31 Days 2021-001

Welcome back to 31 Pages in 31 Days, my annual scrapbooker's challenge blog series! Are you playing along? Is it just me, or does summer speed up in August?!

I hope you're at least taking a minute to pin some ideas, color combos and layouts to use next time you DO have a chance to play!

Today's inspiration layout is super colorful and cool!!

I got a new toy–the Penguin Place stamp set and punch bundle (#156789, $31.50) from Stampin' Up's NEW Holiday 2021 mini catalog–and I had to make a scrapbook layout with it. These little guys are so hilarious! I had a ball creating a little penguin birthday party.

The centerpiece of this page is the negative left over from e-cutting a bunch of "hellos" for another project. They were so perfectly lined up I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. So it became a cool element on a page instead, paired with Polished Pink 6×6 In Color patterned paper.

Penguin Place has adorable sayings in it, so I had to work in one. Actually, I combined two of them, come to think of it! I use that technique a lot to make a small sentiment have more impact on a page.

I absolutely cannot WAIT to have time to play with the penguins again. They have all sorts of adorable accessories, too. You will definitely be seeing Christmas cards with these little guys from me!

Can't wait to share tomorrow's page with you! See you back here for Day 10.
