If you’ve been following along daily with this blog series, you’ll have noticed I missed yesterday! I should have known this back-to-school weekend was going to be just too busy and planned ahead to have a post ready. Both kids are back safely moved into their dorms and things are a lot quieter here tonight!
So I’m writing two posts tonight, Day 30 and then Day 31, with our final layouts and then our grand total page count for the year! Day 30’s post is a funny page for little kid shenanigans, titled Monkey Business.

I started with Country Lace papers in Petal Pink (peach) and Basic Beige and topped it with Copper Clay mats and monkey punches colored in Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake Blends markers from Stampin’ Up. The leaf stamp came from the Friends for Life stamp set. Fun layout with a nice long area to put a chain of monkeys supporting each other as they stretch for those bananas!

I have to confess, I’m ready to be done scrapbooking for a little while! I love my August immersion-style approach, but I am the type of person who usually has several different types of creativity going on at the same time, so limiting myself to JUST scrapping as hard as I could for four weeks was definitely a challenge. I’ve got a painting in progress and an Honor Flight quilt waiting to be cut out, too!
Besides, I used all my neat papers this month and need to order replacements : )
See you “tomorrow” for Day 31 and our grand total of pages! Any guesses?
