A little late with my page this morning… big occipital neuralgia flare-up today, probably from all the wacky weather systems plowing through this August! I tell ya it makes ya feel old and decrepit to be at the mercy of atmospheric pressure! Another reason I am so thankful for my job with Stampin' Up, though–I could take it easy this morning knowing I'll probably be back to normal by tonight. I've been so grateful for that flexibilty for many reasons throughout my 15 years doing this as a business!
Well, on to today's inspiration layout! I miss the beach! Not that I get the opportunity to go to a beach all that often here in Wisconsin, but I miss the idea of going to the beach and sticking my toes in the sand and cooling off in the chill water.
As soon as I opened my new package of Artistry Blooms papers, I was sooo excited! We will definitely be having this paper pack as a future Suite Sampler theme. The papers are gorgeous! And the colors are rich and intense and nuanced. The right hand page was my particular favorite pattern, to no one's great surprise, right? I love me some aqua tones!
I used a combination of alphabet stamps, the white Chalk Marker, Shimmer Paint, and the Pool Party Stampin' Blends to make a splash with my chopped-up headline. I really liked how the combo of clear Elegant Faceted Gems and Basic Rhinestones make it look like drops of water.
