Take the 31 Pages in 31 Days Challenge along with me! Each day in August 2019 I've been posting a scrapbook layout or double-page spread as an inspiration. We're almost done for this year! You can copy the layouts exactly, swipe some ideas or color combos, or just do your own thing.
Here's today's inspiration! I don't get nearly enough excuses to play with the adorable Little Elephant stamp set and punch, so this is in honor of all my friends who are moving into the grandma phase of life! It's so cute to watch you fall in love with that little life and completely lose your heart to a tiny pink or blue bundle. I am sure I will be exactly the same!
Purple Posy and Soft Seafoam are great baby colors, and pairing them with Smoky Slate gray was a natural choice given the theme. Having just done that punch art leaf border from yesterday's layout, I used the same technique with tiny heart punches to add texture to the page. it's a cheap, flat embellishment and a great use of those omni-present scraps we all seem to acquire.
Here's what I used for this page, in case you'd like to recreate it at home! The heart punch isn't listed because it is long since retired.

My foster grandbaby was born June 16, 2019 on Father’s Day. My daughter and her husband was able to bring her home at 9 days old. What a blessing!
You are so talented – great job on the 31 in 31. Our youngest grandchild is now 7, so that leaves me out of this one, but he continues to be such a joy. We were blessed to have him with us one day this week. Enjoy those “baby moments” – they go by way way to fast. Now I have to catch him for those sweet hugs, snuggles and a kiss! But the giggles & fun – keeps me young.
Well, I am afraid I can’t make the most recently born grand baby deadline, because I just found out a week ago that I will be a first time grandmother in May of next year! Can’t beat the feeling though. However, I will surely be using this page layout. Thanks for all of the wonderful traditional scrapbook ideas.
I scrap for Miss Olivia who was born in April of 2019. She is my first grandchild and I am so loving scraping her new little life. Being a Grammy is amazing!
