31 Pages in 31 Days: final count for 2024

Whoo hoo!!! We made it! Another August challenge is in the books. I am thrilled to report my page count for 31 Pages in 31 Days blog series is 65 pages total!! I am very pleased with that progress towards my albums. I can put away my mess now with a big sense of satisfaction and turn my attention to other things (like my neglected house!) Another year of immersion-style scrapbooking is over.

My last two pages aren’t the showstoppers I hoped to finish with, but the way this month ended I’m just glad I have some to share today! This layout celebrating the last weeks of a senior’s school days will come in handy for my fifth-year senior working on his capstone project this semester. We are in the middle of a string of three graduations at our house, with my hubby’s doctoral degree in 2024, Dan’s double degree in 2025 and Natalie in 2026. Maybe I should sign up for a two-year degree and make it a clean sweep in 2027, hey? NOT!! Ha ha!

I used the Cap and Gown set (an Online Exclusive from Stampin’ Up) to pull out the theme with stamped diplomas and little mortarboard caps and tassels. When I don’t have specific papers, it’s always stamps to the rescue!

Well, that’s all she wrote, folks! Thanks for joining me on this journey–I’ve loved sharing my scrapbooking challenge with you and I hope some of the page layouts, themes and techniques sparked some inspiration for you to get your things out and get some memory-keeping done, too. It’s such a creative and worthwhile hobby.
