Welcome to my summer blog series, 31 Pages in 31 Days! If you're playing along with the challenge I laid out there for my Scrapbooking Summer School ladies, leave a comment and let us know! I'm rootin' for you! And if you're local to me, message me to get on my contact list for fun papercrafting events in the Watertown, Wisconsin, area. We have a super fun group of stampers and scrappers and you'd be very welcome to come and play with us!
Today's double-page spread is the last of the pages I had my class members make with the Pinwheels on Parade Simply Scrappin' Kit. Each person used just half a kit (actually less than half a kit) and made six pages with the elements, and they will be taking the extras home to let the creativity continue.
Above is the left hand page, and here's the right…
Just a simple layout today. The simply Scrappin' Kits excel at making scrapbooking both affordable and quick. The professionally-designed cardstock die-cuts are all self adhesive, and there's a generous number of solid color 12×12 cardstock sheets in addition to the four patterned papers, too. Check them out on pages 167-168 of the 2012-13 Catalog!
Here's a close up of the pinwheel sticks… you guessed it, they are bamboo skewers!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's page! Tomorrow is the final day of Scrapbooking Summer School, but the members have until August 31st to finish their 31 pages for the challenge. They are so fired up, I think they will all make it! And when they do, it will be awesome for YOU, too, because I promised them I'd post their favorite page right here on Song of My Heart Stampers. Inspiration abounds! Click the "like" button below to send your Facebook friends to their happy place, too.
I had fun making the pin wheels for this page – never done that before.
I have two pages included on this post…
