If you're just joining us, welcome to Song of My Heart Stampers and my annual scrapbooking blog series, 31 Pages in 31 Days! I've issued this challenge for many years now and there's a bunch of us doing immersion scrapbooking every August now. Love that!
How it works–I post an inspiration layout every day of the month–you can copy it outright, change up the colors or theme, or just pin it for later! Use the hashtag #31pagesin31days when you share your creations online, and be entered to win fabulous prizes all month long. Wow!
Today's inspiration page was made in advance for this October. I borrowed Penni's new Halloween set and punch bundle from Stampin' Up's holiday catalog to have an optional Halloween card at my last stamp club. While it was in my hot little hands I made a layout with it!
Like I said in yesterday's post, I couldn't resist that amazing glitter washi tape four-pack. It makes the BEST quick borders! It's hard to tell in the photos, but this is a very glam and sparkly page because of that tape, plus the Parakeet Party glimmer ribbon on the tags.
The little spider is my favorite part : )
This was my first time playing with the new Parakeet Party In Color from Stampin' Up in any sort of quantity. It looks amazing against the Pumpkin Pie background, contrasted with the stark Tuxedo Black ink. If you thought you didn't need that new color… well, you might not NEED it so to speak… but I don't think you'd regret it!
Today we're replacing all the old crumbly and stained ceiling tiles in the stamp studio! I am loving having both hubby and son home this summer to work on getting Embellish up to snuff. It is a lot of work, but it just makes everything fresh and pretty. I want it to be a place where people can't wait to walk in the door and relax. Be sure to stop by if you're in the area of Watertown, WI!!!
See you tomorrow for Day FIVE already! We're trucking right along. I've already scrapped way more than I get done in a normal month! Feels so great! But I have a feeling the end of the month is going to be a lot harder than the beginning. We'll see if I can keep up!
I love this fun page layout!!!
