31 Pages in 31 Days: day nine

Got some holiday fun for you with this Joy At Christmas 2-page spread for our 31 Pages in 31 Days blog series today! Here is the left hand page, and below is the right hand page.

I used every single pattern in the Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper pack–all twelve of them! They are lined up one after the other marching across the two pages, in 6×2 inch pieces. The Certainly Celery photo mats are layered on top, with a little Cherry Cobbler accent piece made with a gold brad and the Word Window punch.

Just a simple layout, great for any occasion… lots of texture is added by a torn strip of our new Designer Essentials Fabrics, in the polka-dot Cherry Cobbler pattern. It's echoed by a strip of the Scalloped Polka-Dotted Ribbon on the right hand page, too.

If you knew you had a great holiday spread to fill up, would you remember to get out the camera this year? Maybe 'backwards scrapping' (without the photos in hand) is for you! I love it!

  1. I love this blog series on scrapbooking! I’m going to be crafting monthly with a small group of women in my home and now that they are all FINALLY grandmothers, they want to make scrapbook pages. Your ideas are very inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing what you make!

  2. WooHoo – I’m caught up – for now.
I’ve got three days worth on this post. I changed Day #7 to a boy layout instead of a “girlie” one. The rest I’ve kept pretty much exactly the same – thanks for the incentive to get so many events & pictures dealt with – and for your inspiration! You’ve given a number of ideas that I’ll be keeping track of.
    Can’t wait for tomorrow.
